Types of Cancer
What are the different types of cancers?
The main types of cancers are carcinoma, leukema, lymphoma, myeloma, sarcoma, and central nervous system cancers.
1. Carcinoma begins in the skin, the body's external covering.
2. Leukemia starts in the bone marrow and the goes to the blood.
3. Lymphoma and myeloma has its origins in the lymph nodes, a part of the immune system.
4. Sarcoma begins in connective tissue like muscle blood, vessls, cartage, and even fat.
5. Central nervous system cancer starts in the spinal cord and brain.
How are cancers named?
There are almost as many names for cancers as there are major body parts and origins.
The original location of the cancer is the name given to it. When it spreads (metastasizes) to another part of the body, for example colon cancer metastasizes to the brain; it is called “metastatic colon cancer” instead of brain cancer.

General Cancer Information
If you research cancer on the internet and in print, you will discover various causes.
They range from exposure to known carcinogens like cigarettes and asbestos, to cancer brought on by lifestyle.
Lifestyle examples include choices of not eating enough fiber, which leads to a constipated colon and malignant polyps.
It appears cancer originates from uncontrolled growths of cells, regardless of the cause. Under normal conditions, cells reproduce in a controlled and predictable manner. See:
What is Cancer?
However, under abnormal conditions, when cell reproduction is other than normal, a mutation most likely will form. These mutated cells cause what we know as a lump, a mass, or a tumor.
Sometimes these can become a cancer, other times they can just be uncomfortable fatty tissue masses which can pop up almost anywhere.
Blood cancers, on the other hand, seem to circulate throughout the whole body, all organs, and all tissue where they can reproduce and become a new cancer. This one is scary.
While types of cancer are the 5 named above; tumors however, can be either:
a. non-cancerous which is called “benign”
b. cancerous, also known as “malignant”
Benign tumors are not the center of our focus. Our focus is the tumors that become malignant.
When cells from the malignant tumor break away and travel through the blood system and lodge in another part of the body, grow, and spread the original cancer, this process is called metastasis.
Some common places for metastasis to occur are in organs such as lungs and liver, and even the brain. Other common areas are the bones.
Alternative Cancer Treatments That Work!
When I was diagnosed in January 2007, my doctor rated my cancer somewhere between stage 3 or 4.
Without checking any alternatives, I started chemotherapy at my health care provider’s oncology department.
I was scheduled for 6-rounds of chemotherapy; each round was a double-bag.
During my second infusion, I experienced a deathly reaction to the chemicals and almost died in the treatment chair.
That near-death experience was the catalyst that sent me in search of Alternative Cancer Treatments.
After weeks of searching, I found a wonderful clinic which was recommended in one of Kevin Trudeau’s books. I devoured the website information and read all the survivor’s testimonials. Then, my husband and I discussed and prayed about the possibilities of me going to the clinic.
It was a big decision to go; it shouldn’t have been, but it was. I had butterflies like I have never had them before. Then, together my husband and I made the decision for me to go to the clinic.
The treatments were for two-weeks; now they do three-weeks for less money than I paid for my two-weeks. I regained my energy and smile back almost instantly after the treatments began.
After returning home, I made an appointment with oncology. He ordered another PET-scan because he couldn’t detect any cancer remaining when he physically examined me. I held my breath for about a week until the results came back…Cancer-Free!!
That was three-years ago. I have full faith that you can become the next cancer survivor by going to the clinic. Take your opportunity now and have a FREE CONFIDENTIAL MEDICAL EVALUATION, to discover if you are a good candidate for Alternative Cancer Treatments. Get the clinic name by going to my
