Overcome Cancer With Faith

To overcome the deadly disease of cancer, you must become a person of faith. You have the power within you to speak health and healing to your body. Will it work? It will, provided you have faith.

After my Cancer Reality page, you know I am a woman of faith.

I believe everyone has the ability to be a person of faith. For instance, one has faith that the light will turn on when they flip the light switch.

Another believes that their spouse will be there for them, no matter what, just like the marriage vows they took on their wedding day. That’s faith.

While still another speaks health and healing to his/her body, and it comes to be. How can that be, you may ask?

On other pages on this site, I have reminded the reader that thoughts are things, very powerful things. (See my Cancer Reality page).

Faith is what we hold on to. “Faith believes that the impossible will become true.” Please ponder the depth of that statement as you read Hebrews chapter 11 from the Bible. Please take a Bible right now and read this chapter which is affectionately called “The Faith Chapter”.

Let me ask, are you a person of faith? If you don’t have enough faith just yet, then borrow some of mine until you have enough of your own.

I believe anyone with cancer can beat it if they have faith and the will to live .

Also extremely helpful is enough time and the correct intervention and/or nutritional help.

That’s my belief: You can become a person of faith and overcome any and all disease, including cancer.

Honestly, I don’t know.

I can tell you in my case, I was given as short as three months to live in mid-January 2007.

Searching For Natural, Non-Invasive Treatments:

I went through additional testing which ate up another six weeks, with half of that time in chemotherapy and Jim doing his internet searching for natural, non-inasive alternative treatments.

By the time I had my Alternative Cancer Treatment, at a special clinic, I could have had as short as six weeks remaining, if we're counting by oncology's calendar...but, remember: I'm a person of faith.

I Was Praying For God To Heal Me

When I received my Cancer Diagnosis, I started praying specifically for God to heal me. I am blessed to have many Christian friends, (see my Acknowledgements page) and I asked them to pray for me. I believe one is to keep asking, in prayer, until an answer presents itself, as God says in 1st Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.”

So I prayed, and I kept praying; I'm a person of faith. At the end of our Sunday morning church service, I went forward for the pastor to lay his hands on me and pray for me. He did, and the whole church prayed with him for me.

Small Group Bible Studies:

In January 2007, Jim and I were part of a “small group” Bible study. (A small group usually numbers from six to eight people on the low side, to as many as twenty-four people, usually meeting in a home.) Our group was mostly made up of retired or almost retired persons; Jim and I were the youngest ones of the group.

Our group included several Elders in our church. One of the Elders in our group, Larry, called me and asked if the group could come over to my home, anoint me with oil, lay hands on me, and pray for God’s healing for me. I was more than ready, and asked them to come as soon as possible.

The swelling on the left side of my neck was huge!

It had the whole side of my neck protruding out as if a golf ball were under my skin. It was quite obvious, even to the untrained eye, that something was terribly wrong.

My Bible study group came over at the appointed time. Larry, the Elder, asked that I sit in one of my dining room chairs in the center of the room.

You Absolutely Must Be A Person of Faith To Do The Following

Laying On Of Hands:

The entire group gathered around me. Larry anointed my forehead with oil, and everyone laid hands on me. We all prayed, one at a time until all had prayed.

I felt everyone’s hands on my shoulders, my neck, my head, and my arms, but my thoughts were on the Lord. I barely remember what was prayed, but I definitely remember the hot, burning sensation I felt going through my body. I kept all this to myself as the group split up and went home.

The Effect Of Laying On Of Hands:

I looked in the mirror, and the huge swelling on my neck had gone down about half the size it was before prayer.

I’m telling you, the swelling had gone down about half its previous size on the left side of my neck!

I was shouting for Jim to come look. I could hardly take it all in. My eyes were full of tears of happiness.

Now you know that in addition to me, Jim also, is a person of faith.

God's Miracles:

Jim confirmed, “Yes, it is, sweetheart! The swelling may even be half the size it was last night before prayer!” That’s God’s miracle at work.

Jim had quietly started reading everything he could get his hands on concerning my disease.

Alternative Cancer Treatments That Work!

When I was diagnosed in January 2007, my doctor gave me as short as 3-months to live and rated my cancer somewhere between stage 3 or 4.

Without checking any alternatives, I started chemotherapy at my health care provider’s oncology department.

During my second infusion, I experienced a deathly reaction to the chemicals and almost died in the treatment chair.

That near-death experience was the catalyst that sent me in search of Alternative Cancer Treatments.
