Cervical Cancer

Woman Cervical Cancer

What Is Cervical Cancer?

This is cancer of the cervix, the female reproductive organ that is the lower part of the woman’s womb, or uterus.

These two are positioned in the pelvis, on top of the vagina.

The cervix is part of the birth canal and opens to the vagina, and is located between the rectum and bladder.

Cancer can develop when cells reproduce in an abnormal way. These abnormal cells can, and usually do, spread to neighboring organs and lymph nodes.

These breakaway cells can travel through the bloodstream to distant parts of the body.

Routine exams for women, such as a “Pap” smear can detect surface cancer cells of the cervix. This is performed by using a small wooden spatula to take surface cell specimens in the cervix. The cells are examined under the microscope to make any determination. Other detection is made by doctors during routine pelvic exams.

What Are Cervical Cancer Symptoms?

They often go unnoticed because they mimic so many other female ailments. Symptoms may not present themselves until the cancer has spread, or it is in advanced stages. Some women may think it is PMS or ovulation pains. Often times however, there are no symptoms.

Every woman is different; however, when symptoms are present, they usually don’t appear until the disease is advanced. The most pronounced symptom is pain, either dull or sharp that can go on for hours. The pain can be during urination. If this is the case, usually the cancer has spread to include the bladder.

Bleeding between regular menstrual periods, after douching, after sexual intercourse, or after a pelvic exam can also be symptoms of advanced stages. Bleeding results after the the area has been irritated during one of these mentioned activities.

Please keep in mind: these symptoms in and of themselves do not mean the person has cervical cancer. It means the person needs further examination be a doctor. The doctor will probably do a pelvic exam and/or order further tests which may include a chest x-ray, CT scan, MRI, and/or ultrasound.

What Are The Stages of This Cancer?

These stages are similar to Bladder Cancer stages: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and recurrent. The higher the number, the more advanced the disease and needs immediate intervention and life-style change.

What Are Traditional Cervical Cancer Treatments?

Treatments include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, or a combination of these. Surgery is usually done after early stages and includes removal of the cervix and uterus, also known as (aka) total hysterectomy; while radical hysterectomy also removes parts of the vagina.

What Are Cervical Cancer Statistics?

The United States had about 12,000 cases in 2005 and about 4,000 deaths after we Americans spent more than $2 Billion on treatments.

Peggy Sue Roberts, December 2009, at age 61 Alternative Cancer Treatments That Work!

When I was diagnosed in January 2007, my doctor gave me as short as 3-months to live and rated my cancer somewhere between stage 3 or 4.

Without checking any alternatives, I started chemotherapy at my health care provider’s oncology department.

I was scheduled for 6-rounds of chemotherapy; each round was a double-bag.

During my second infusion, I experienced a deathly reaction to the chemicals and almost died in the treatment chair.

That near-death experience was the catalyst that sent me in search of Alternative Cancer Treatments.

After weeks of searching, I found a wonderful clinic which was recommended in one of Kevin Trudeau’s books. I devoured the website information and read all the survivor’s testimonials. Then, my husband and I discussed and prayed about the possibilities of me going to the clinic.

It was a big decision to go; it shouldn’t have been, but it was. I had butterflies like I have never had them before. Then, together my husband and I made the decision for me to go to the clinic.

The treatments were for two-weeks; now they do three-weeks for less money than I paid for my two-weeks. I regained my energy and smile back almost instantly after the treatments began.

After returning home, I made an appointment with oncology. He ordered another PET-scan because he couldn’t detect any cancer remaining when he physically examined me. I held my breath for about a week until the results came back…Cancer-Free!!

That was three-years ago.

I have full faith that you can become the next cancer survivor by going to the clinic. Take your opportunity now and have a FREE CONFIDENTIAL MEDICAL EVALUATION, to discover if you are a good candidate for Alternative Cancer Treatments.
