And now, that conversation became Jim’s “driving force” to “press on” until he found a way for me to rid my body of the rest of the disease without chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgery. Searching For Alternative Treatments: After I went forward at church for the pastor to pray for me, a couple, Keith and Pam Alexander, approached Jim in the back of the church. They told Jim they would provide websites where he could do research to locate an Altenative Cancer Treatment to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. 
Keith came through as he said he would and gave Jim about twelve websites to search.
It was like he handed Jim a nest of golden eggs. Internet Research For Alternative Malignancy Treatments: He explained they had the websites because they had a friend with this disease, did considerable internet research, and their friend had favorable results with the information. With that knowledge, Jim plowed through the provided websites and found others along the way. Malignancy: A Deadly Subject Jim never had wanted to know so much about the deadly subject, but he was finding it out now. I was absolutely no help to him at all. I was too weak and didn’t have the energy. I mostly rested and napped. Jim didn’t stop at the internet. He bought books online and at the local health food store. When he should have been working, he was reading and researching as a labor of love. I didn’t pay too much attention to what he was doing because I had enough to do just trying to keep up my energy. Books I Researched For Alternative Treatments Jim’s research took him to books like: 1. “The RAVE Diet and Lifestyle” by Mike Anderson. I suggest you watch the DVD that comes with the book before trying to read this book. To me, the DVD says it all! This book is a “truth teller” about the foods we eat. 2. “Eat to Live” by Joel Fuhrman, M.D. This is an outstanding book that will open your eyes to how life can, and should be, without diseases caused by foods we eat. 3. “Alkalize or Die” by Dr. Baroody. Jim purchased this one at our local health food store. 4. Books by Kevin Trudeau: “Natural Cures They Don’t Want You To Know About” and “More Natural Cures They Don’t Want You To Know About” (You’ll save money if you buy Kevin’s books at his website vs. an online book seller; www.naturalcures.com) 5. “The China Study” by T. Colin Campbell, PhD. & Thomas M. Campbell II. I think this is a very valuable book if you can get through it. It reinforces “The RAVE Diet and Lifestyle.” 6. May I give you a word of caution?
Just a friendly suggestion: If you are the one who has this disease, I would absolutely not let anyone tell me stories of someone they know who got it and died. I suggest you keep all those “well-meaning” people as far away from you as possible. If they don’t have a survival story to tell you, don’t listen to them, not even to be polite. I’ll share with you what Jim found and what actions we took as a result of his research. Since this is my actual story of what happened in my life, and I’m not giving advice, I’ll share with you all the specifics.

When I was diagnosed in January 2007, my doctor gave me as short as 3-months to live and rated my cancer somewhere between stage 3 or 4. Without checking any alternatives, I started chemotherapy at my health care provider’s oncology department. I was scheduled for 6-rounds of chemotherapy; each round was a double-bag. During my second infusion, I experienced a deathly reaction to the chemicals and almost died in the treatment chair.
