Cancer Reality

Coming to grips with cancer reality, and rejecting the fate which the medical profession gave me was a major part of my becoming a survivor.

Hold On To My Hand How does one come to grips with being told you have Lymphoma, Stage 3 or 4?

Handling Stress

I suppose we all handle stress in different ways, depending upon how we were raised and what religious beliefs, or faith, we have.

For sure, it was not a time to “Freak-Out,” as people say.

That doesn’t accomplish much. In fact it is very detrimental to self and everyone around you. Now was a time to “Be still and know that I am God,” as the Bible says in Psalms 46:10.

I don’t recall much between the time I was told definitely I had Lymphoma and starting my chemotherapy. Maybe I was stunned, or maybe it was because I was having difficulty remembering anything past 5 minutes ago.

Oxygen Cut-Off To The Brain

Doctors later disclosed to me that some of the lymph node swelling could have been cutting off blood and oxygen supply to my brain, which may have caused some of my memory loss.

That explanation makes some sense because my memory has returned to "normal" since I no longer have lymphoma. I’m talking about "normal" now, because if you’re over fifty or sixty, you’re probably a little forgetful like me.

That's when you walk from one room of your house to another, you wonder what you went there for. That’s the over forty syndrome and not a part of cancer reality at all.

What We Think Determines What Happens To Us

At some point in time, I don’t recall exactly when, Ed and Janice Wasmer, good Christian friends, loaned us some DVD’s about: “What we think tends to actually happen or come about.”

Bowl of Cherries Life really can be, "A Bowl of Cherries."

Many years ago, my husband Jim, read and re-read, Think and Grow Rich by Dr. Napoleon Hill. (I wish he would have also read about Cancer Prevention and proper diet / nutrition.)

As A Man Thinketh In His Heart, So Is He

The theme of that book and the DVD’s our friends loaned us seemed to suggest a similar theme: “As a man thinks, so is he,” and in modern English, “so s/he becomes.”

I believe that! I encourage you to give this some thought and consideration.

Subconscious Mind Directs The Conscious Mind

Somehow the subconscious mind (that never sleeps) directs the conscious mind to bring about that which is thought about most, believed, and presented with enthusiasm and/or emotion. I remember when Jim used to make up positive affirmation cards and privately repeat them out loud, over and over again. (See a picture of Jim on my Acknowlegements page.)

Positive Affirmations And Positive Thinking

Positive affirmations are simple to do: Write down, in a short sentence, something you desire to happen. Use one such as: "I Am A Whole Healthy Person." or "Every Day In Every Way, I'm Getting Better And Better."

Read out loud your positive affirmations to yourself twenty to fifty times per day. Thinking it won't work. You must speak it out loud so your subconscious mind can hear and start acting on your command.

This Was Not My Time To Die

I told you all that, to now tell you: God put it on my heart that THIS WAS NOT MY TIME TO DIE. I didn’t have anything in particular to hang my hat on that statement. I just had a compelling knowledge (not a feeling, but a knowledge) that I wasn’t going to die of this disease, nor was I going to die at this time. That was not part of my cancer reality.

I didn’t know how Jim would react when I told him; so, I just came right out and told him. I just knew God was telling me that this was not my time to die from this disease.

New Hatched Chick A New Beginning

Somehow I felt like this would be a new beginning, like being born again.

Jim believed me and I sighed with relief, but I could see the wheels of his mind working out the HOW.

How was God going to bring this about (like it was up to us to bring about the ‘how’)? The ‘how’ is always left up to God, isn’t it? Yes, and so is His timing.

Don't Ask God Why

I didn’t ask God why I got this disease. “Why?” implies a quarrel or fight, and I learned a long time ago not to quarrel with God. Since He is my creator and knew my beginning, as well as my end, before I was ever created, I figured I better not start asking: “Why me?”

Over the years, I have known lots of folks who asked God “Why?” Even my own two sons occasionally ask God why. They all have had to learn that God has already answered all the “Whys” in His Word (the Bible). It’s all there for the reading, knowledge, and understanding.

I believe I contracted this disease in order for me to give you this testimony of how gracious God can be to those He loves, and His Word says He loves each and every one of us regardless of your background.

If I had not contracted cancer, I would not be writing this web site in order for thousands of people to read and receive hope and answers. You may have any form of this disease, it doesn't have to become your cancer reality.

My Motivation

I also wrote this site so that you may not have to go through chemotherapy, surgery/butchery, loss of hair, loss of sexual drive, loss of memory, great destruction to or loss of your immune system, and loss of self-esteem. Those things also don't have to become part of your cancer reality.

City of Honolulu Notice all of these are losses.

Almost everyone knows someone, somewhere with some form of this disease. It’s literally everywhere.

It's from Honolulu to New York City.

Cancer Statistics

According to the American Cancer Society, one out every two men and one out of every three women living in the United States in 2010 will get some form of this disease.

I meet these people every day in the grocery, post office, Bible study, hotel lobbies, restaurants, or on airliners. We discuss my story of how I survived using Natural Alternative Treatments.

Giving People Hope

Just about everywhere I go, I meet someone who knows another person with cancer. When they learn I'm a cancer survivor, they ask me to tell my story. I never tire of telling my story to people; I never tire of giving people hope.

I have had couples come to my home and spend up to two hours just hearing my story. One-on-one tells my story, but it doesn’t spread the word very fast; therefore, I’m writing this site. I’m writing this to the person who doesn’t know me, but needs to hear my story just as much as the person in front of me.

With a site, you can go back over the information as many times as you wish. You also have a positive cancer survivor story for yourself, and that’s priceless.

Whatever You Believe Will Happen

I spoke briefly about our conscious and sub-conscious mind. I am not a doctor of any kind, see my Disclaimer page; I can only tell you how it has been explained to me. Whatever you decide, whatever you believe, will tend to come about.

I can only tell you how it has been explained to me. Whatever you decide, whatever you believe, will tend to come about.

Mountain Climber If you decide to live, and you can get a visual of yourself as being well, happy, and productive, then that image burned on your sub-conscious will help you make your vision a reality.

Visualize youself doing some activity you love like mountain climbing or working in the garden.

The cancer reality will step aside.

Again, I am not a doctor; I’m not practicing medicine, or any kind of psychology.

I’m just telling you how it has been explained to me over the years, and how it has come to reality for me and many, many others.

Visualization Works

In my life, I have seen visualization work in countless sales people and folks of different walks of life. My husband, Jim, ran a large life & annuity insurance sales office at one point in our careers. He had his managers drill this practice into the sales people until they could see themselves as successful sales people.

When they got it, their sales soared!!

In Dr. Neapolitan Hill’s words, “If you can conceive it, and believe it, you can achieve it.” That was the whole punch line of his book, Think and Grow Rich. The NIV Bible puts it this way in Mark 11:24 where the Lord Jesus said, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Power Of Prayer

Peggy Sue Roberts, December 2009, at age 61 Alternative Cancer Treatments That Work!

When I was diagnosed in January 2007, my doctor gave me as short as 3-months to live and rated my cancer somewhere between stage 3 or 4.

Without checking any alternatives, I started chemotherapy at my health care provider’s oncology department.

I was scheduled for 6-rounds of chemotherapy; each round was a double-bag.

During my second infusion, I experienced a deathly reaction to the chemicals and almost died in the treatment chair.

That near-death experience was the catalyst that sent me in search of Alternative Cancer Treatments.

After weeks of searching, I found a wonderful clinic which was recommended in one of Kevin Trudeau’s books. I devoured the website information and read all the survivor’s testimonials.

Then, my husband and I discussed and prayed about the possibilities of me going to the clinic.

It was a big decision to go; it shouldn’t have been, but it was. I had butterflies like I have never had them before. Then, together my husband and I made the decision for me to go to the clinic.

The treatments were for two-weeks; now they do three-weeks for less money than I paid for my two-weeks.

I regained my energy and smile back almost instantly after the treatments began.

After returning home, I made an appointment with oncology. He ordered another PET-scan because he couldn’t detect any cancer remaining when he physically examined me. I held my breath for about a week until the results came back…Cancer-Free!!

That was three-years ago.

I have full faith that you can become the next cancer survivor by going to the clinic. Take your opportunity now and have a FREE CONFIDENTIAL MEDICAL EVALUATION, to discover if you are a good candidate for Alternative Cancer Treatments.

Get the clinic name by going to my Cancer Survivor page and use the “Clinic Name Request Form” You’ll be so happy you did!!

Thank you for stopping by my "Cancer Reaity" page.

To your health and happiness,

P.S. To tell my story, I had to learn how to build this website. Without any prior training, the folks at Site Build It made it easy for me. If you can send an email and an attachment, you can build a site similar to this one. Click here to learn more, or watch the video below.
