Hi, my name is Peggy Sue Roberts. I send my acknowledgments, gratitude, thanks, and love to all who prayed for me. My acknowledgements begin with my wonderful family who stood by and believed in me. Thanks to my two sons, James Jr. and Rusty Roberts, and their families. You all supplied me with love, hope, enthusiasm, and motivation to keep on going when it would have been so easy to no longer try. I send a special thanks and acknowledgments to Mary Chenault and Virginia Melton, my sisters, who prayed deeply for me and came two thousand miles to visit me. (Virginia, I know you are deathly afraid of flying, but you made the trip just for me to help as I recovered. Thank you.)

Acknowledgements are acknowledgements, but you are at the top. Jim also recorded the events, conversations, and times so this site could be written. I know you love me unconditionally and forever. Acknowledgments also go to so many of my Christian family who prayed for me. You tirelessly kept me in your prayers that God would heal me and return me to my family. My special appreciation and love go to my Bible Study group who came to my house, anointed me with oil, laid their hands on me, and prayed for me. I also have a very large stack of cards and letters I received from prayer groups and churches around the country. You sent cards weekly to encourage me and remind me of God’s love. My acknowledgements and thanks to all of you who encouraged me to write my story so that many can read and receive hope. I have listened to you and wrote this site as a labor of love for you and your families. When I was diagnosed in January 2007, my doctor gave me as short as 3-months to live and rated my cancer somewhere between stage 3 or 4. Without checking any alternatives, I started chemotherapy at my health care provider’s oncology department. I was scheduled for 6-rounds of chemotherapy; each round was a double-bag. 
During my second infusion, I experienced a deathly reaction to the chemicals and almost died in the treatment chair. At the end of my two-weeks I felt perfectly healthy and completely rid of cancer. After returning home, I made an appointment with oncology. He ordered another PET-scan because he couldn’t detect any cancer remaining when he physically examined me. I held my breath for about a week until the results came back…Cancer-Free!!
